The Michael Jackson rehearsal flick "This is It," continued to lead in the box office topping all other concert films taking in $103 million in the first five days.On Sunday, the film beat projections by production company Sony by raking in $8.3 million.
The movie surprised many critics who expected something completely different from this film. According to the website rottentomatoes.com, This is It garnered 81 percent favorable reviews.
MJ looks surprisingly energetic in the film and not all like the downtrodden images that many remember during his well-publicized trial.
Sony has extended the movie's release, which was originally scheduled to end after two weeks, through to the Thanksgiving holiday.
