Tiger Woods holds one stroke lead in British Open

Tiger Woods held on to the lead by one stroke Saturday after three rounds at the British Open.

Woods held off a rally by Sergio Garcia who shot a 65 at Royal Liverpool.

A hard day of putting prevented Tiger from pulling away, but he still is in his best position yet to pull off a much-anticipated majors victory.

Vijay Singh grabs lead, Woods moves up

Vijay Singh took the lead at the Western Open golf tournament Saturday as Tiger Woods moved up the leaderboard.

Singh of Fiji is two strokes ahead of the pack after three rounds at Cog Hill Golf Club in Lemont, Illinois.

Woods shot a five-under-par 66 and trails Singh by three strokes.

Tiger rebounds, Chopra takes lead at Western Open

Tiger Woods came back from a rough start to stay in contention at the Western Open on Friday.

Woods is seven shots behind leader Daniel Chopra who holds a two-stroke lead over second place Vijay Singh.

This is Tiger's second tournament after the death of his father, Earl Woods. He was eliminated in the first round for the first time in his career during the U.S. Open in June.
